Toothache or Tooth decay are major problems facing the health of a child and also the obvious causes are excess Sweets, Sugary Suckers, Sugary chew gum, etc……But guess what a young girl found a reliable solution to the problem by making a sugar-free lollipop which is delicious and apart from that it builds the cavity of the teeth and makes it stronger…also she makes lots of cash from it.

   HOW IT ALL STARTED

In her words “I went to the bank one day with my dad and the teller asked me if I wanted a sucker. My Dad always told me that I should not eat candy because sugar is terrible for my teeth…..On the car ride back home, I asked my dad if it was possible to make a healthy sucker, I kept asking him and after thorough research, we finally made the first batch”

And that was how it all started...firstly, they researched on the internet for sweeteners that are not sugar filled and will also help in improving the cavities of children. They also asked dentists and doctors who enlightened them more and then they finally got the secret formulas which were “Erythritol and Xylitol” {These agents are not only sugar free, they also help in freshen the breath and balancing the mouths PH….. normally after you eat, you are not supposed to lick sugary candy because it seriously affects the teeth, but after eating you can lick Zollipops because it helps the mouth and teeth… Isn’t that great}

       INVESTMENT

According to Alina, she invested $7,500 into the business which she got  from the savings of her holiday’s trip, Parents and Grandparents Allowances, etc, all these money gotten contributed in the sponsoring of Alina’s Business.

   GETTING THE  RIGHT FORMULA AND FLAVORS

Alina and her dad started with making molds of ingredients to find the right sample, unfortunately, this didn’t work, so they went to different manufacturers to get the right equipment to work with, after they got all that they needed, they began the mixing, testing, tasting and believing, that the lollipop will be cool, Luckily, for Father and Daughter, the Lollipop was great.

  SUPPORT AND PROMOTION

Alina got a lot of support from her friends,sister{Lola}, schoolmates and Parents, the name ZOLLIPOP was given by her 5years old sister, who when given a “xylitol Lollipop” asked whether it was “Zollipop”. After making several flavor samples, she gave them to the “best critics in the world” {her friends}. when they told her it was cool, she became very happy and decided it was great to start selling and improving the lives of children.

She started by selling a bag of lollipop for $6 through a retailer, which worked perfectly well, then a wholefood store preferred her lollipops to other lollipops. She also sells it on officemax.com and Amazon.com, where the lollipop was ranked the 2nd highest purchased item on amazon. At times she gives schoolmates and children for free, in order to enhance promotion and improving the healthcare of the children.

Schooling is one of Alina’s hobby and passion, according to her, she loves Maths and Science because she practiced more of science when she began making her lollipop, This really assists her in passing her tests excellently. According to her, she goes to school in the day and work in the night

Zollipops is owned by Alina and her father, Alina noted that the company is planning to make some adjustment to the lollipop because the lollipop gets sticky when it has direct contact with sunlight because of the non-sugary agents in it, also the company is presently making a snack that doesn't contain non-sugary ingredients. The goal of the company is to replace all sugary snacks with Zollipops products all over the world. The company is also expected to gain $1 to 2 million dollars at the end of this year…cooooooollll

                                                RECOGNITION AND CHARITY
Alina had the opportunity to serve her candy at the White House Annual Easter Egg Roll in 2016. And her candy was the only allowed candy at the event, She also gives 10 percent of her profit for the sake of improving Children's teeth and health………What an inspiration.
