CHECKOUT THIS YOUNG TEENAGE GIRL WHO HAS AMPUTATED LIMBS AND STILL GET THOUSANDS OF VIEWS ON HER YOUTUBE VIDEOS

"You've got legs and hands which have been useful to you in your own way, which useful thing have you used them for?"

A teenage girl named Izzy Weall, who lost her four legs after contracting meningitis has started a make –up skills channel on Youtube, where she teaches young adults and adults how to make up and look good surprisingly she gets thousands of views per video.

When Izzy was seven, she suffered a heart attack and organ failure after suffering from meningitis for a long time, when her parents were called to the hospital, the doctor clearly stated that their beautiful daughter had 1% chance of survival. After a long period of hope, Doctors at Queens Medical Centre told the parents that they didn’t have any choice than to amputate the legs and arms to save her life.

She spent two weeks in a state of critical coma, during which the doctors advised her parents to switch off the life-support because even though she survived the coma,  she would have serious brain damage which may later affect her life. When she woke up from the coma, her legs and arms were amputated and she was given artificial limbs to support her in a little.

After the operation, Izzy spent 2 months in the hospital and another 8 months on the wheelchair, after 5years of learning how to work she surprised everyone by winning a National Trampoline Competition and The Disability Category Two Novice Category in 2015.

Though she was brought back to life by an adrenaline shot, she still decided to make a life for herself and impact other disabled people by creating a Youtube Channel that shows how she applies her make-up and her experiences as a normal teenager, despite having only arms that are amputated below her elbow.

She said “ I love doing makeup videos but videos that show what have been through get a lot of views, I want to prove that I'm no different to anyone else and I hope others feel the same when they watch my videos”

Her Mum, Catherine Llyod, also added:” She has never seen herself as disabled or different, she wants to do all the things that teenagers her age do, Her interest in makeup started a few years ago and the more she practiced, the more she perfected it”.

The inspiration for the videos came from her granddad, who encouraged her to do videos of her her experiences and what she knows how to do best. Though people may think it as an awful thing to be without limbs but according to her parents, she has been more of a blessing to them.

                                                         TEE’S THOUGHT
.........so, I'm sitting down, feeling my legs and hands and asking myself what positive thing have I impacted on people, what have I used my hands and legs to do that have made people feel happy, I think you should also do that.

The new wave now is “handicapped” persons making people smile while we that don’t have any disturbing problems have obviously not done much in the aspect of impacting lives positively.
I will also like to encourage guys with a disability not to give up, be the savior people won’t believe you could be and you’ll thank yourself. #blessings.
