16 YEARS OLD SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR KILLING A MAN WITH SINGLE PUNCH

Every day, we hear different amazing news about teens, well this one is both amazing and disappointing, a 16 years boy {Conour Stewart} has been sentenced to three years imprisonment in a young offenders’ institute on Monday, after been found guilty of killing a Mr. Rhodes outside a shop in the seaside town of Blackpool, Lancs.

Conour Stewart was hanging out with his friends when he suddenly noticed a drunk man walking in the pavement and the first thing that clicked in conour’s head was to punch the drunk man, in a way of showing himself as the “big man”/boss among his friends, According to reports, he gave the man a single punch on the head which left the drunken man identified as Michael Rhodes, aged 47, mortally injured with a fractured skull.

Mr. Rhodes was immediately rushed to Royal Preston Hospital where he remained in critical condition before he died on Sunday, June 11, after 3 weeks in the hospital, According to Rhodes mum, in a statement in the court, Her son “Rhodes” was someone struggling to cling to life, he was a former plasterer and chef who had battled problems with drinks and drugs for years, Surprisingly, she noted that even if her son ever survived that ordeal, he would never have had a real quality of life………{please, what kind of mother is this????}.

Conour has been described as a troubled youngster, who has been exposed to domestic violence while growing up before his mother and father separated when he was a young teenager. Though, nothing was said about him into drugs or alcohol. In his initial defense, conour told the police, he acted in self-defense…to what exactly???, but later admitted to a charge of manslaughter, according to him, after punching the man, he noticed the man didn’t wake up and he urged the man to “wake up” before fleeing out of fear with his friends.

This incident which occurred on Saturday, May 30, was a very serious case because judgment was decided in court, just this Monday, the incident which was recorded with a phone camera, proved as evidence. In the sickening mobile phone footage, Mr. Rhodes held his hands up in defense and tries to walk away from any brewing trouble. Conour then gave him a heavy punch in the face sending the “poor” man falling onto the pavement and smacking his head hard on the concrete, Conour then runs with his friends, as Mr Rhodes is left motionless on the floor, seriously bleeding before some cried out for ambulance………

I’m entirely speechless on this, because firstly, where did a 16 years old get a strength like that, to punch a man to death without using drugs…..ok, we can understand that he’s a regular gym visitor and also, it wasn’t stated in the report whether the man disturbed his friends or not, if Conour had any problem with someone being drunk, he could have called the drunken man and talk/advice him or instead mind his business.
