Right from a little boy, Mo as he’s fondly called developed passion for fashion, According to him, he got the passion from his dad who always dress smartly, His Mom also Testifies to this “I’d say Mo, go and get dressed and he would come completely dressed in a suit, (what he supposed to wear on Sunday), he also has expensive taste, wanting to look good every time”. He learnt sewing from his grandmother, who helped him sew his first bow-tie. After which he made bow-ties from scraps of clothes especially African materials which he got from his grandmother, his family members saw and appreciated his work after which they stated advertising for him. He firstly sold many pieces locally, then he started selling them online using facebook and Etsy(his personal selling platform). “I love to wear bowties because they make me look good and feel happy, designing a colorful bowtie is just part of my vision to make the world a fun and happier place” he said.

In 2012, he and his mom appeared on NBC reality TV series, Shark Tank’s 5th season, a reality show hosted by investor Daymond John (whose Net Worth is up to $250 million dollars), an investor who invest in small businesses, they sought $50,000 in exchange for 20% equity in the company, this endorsement made Moziah sell 2,000 bow ties handcrafted with his mother, grandmother and some relatives earning him lot of cash.
Presently, Daymond John is Mo’s mentor and he goes out with him for more endorsement and sponsorships opportunities, according to Daymond, his mentorship of Mo’s has made him meet different renowned people.

Mo’Bows

Moziah is the CEO of Mo’Bows, his mother is the marketing manager or “the CEO of the CEO”….lol,The company has a website where it sells its handcrafted men’s accessories, Mo’s vision is to create a clothing line after college and create high standard children and men’s accessories in which he would increase the fashion awareness in the world. Apart from using its website to sell, the company also produces for top retail shops and major celebrities including NBA stars. According to his mom, though he works and goes to school ,all these doesn’t stop him from sleeping 8:30pm each day.

Recently, Moziah got an Endorsement with NBA. Allowing Mo Bows to produce ties with NBA logo on it, this endorsement deal will get him and his company up to $6 billion revenue this year………….wooooow. Apart from this, he gets different endorsement deals with different companies including those agreeing to tutor and mentor him for free, in which he declines some. He has also gotten the opportunity to showcase his bow ties to Former President Obama.

Charity

In his blog, he stated that Memphis(where he reside) is ranked highest of child hunger, therefore he tries all his best to give back to the society in any way he can, Last summer he gave $1,600 dollars to children for camping and holiday, he and his mum also give scholarships to children and welcome’s anyone that drops by in their house.
